In the midst of the first real weeks of summer, Lib Tech contacted Jason Robinson and I to capture a special photo. They said that they really need a shot of him on this ‘banana board’.. but wait, I’ve got plenty of shot’s of him on a banana?

No, this banana:

It’s June 11th, and I know there’s still a ton of snow out at Carson Pass. We drive up to the lot, park, and hike maybe 10 minutes to find a perfect rock with some definite exposure.. exactly what I’m looking for. Surprisingly there’s still nearly a 5ft base of snow, that I ended up having to hike in my vans as my boots were thrashed from a mouse attack in the garage.

After a quick lip creation, we got to it. To capture the real shape of this board, it had to be shot from the back, and we nailed it after a few quick attempts despite his lack of an actual heel edge.
