Built to order, this slab office set was felled, milled & built locally in Lake Tahoe. Materials include: 120+ year old lodgepole pine & legs constructed from steel stock.

The Skatehouse in South Lake Tahoe
There’s finally a retreat for the skater in you from those deep wintry months & the glaring mid-summer days. A dream for many a year, the time has come for an indoor skatepark here in South Lake Tahoe. It’s seamless, fast as hell and a ripping time.

700 inches of snowfall
Sierra at Tahoe Resort has recently broke 700 inches of snowfall in this 2010/2011 season. I’ll be there the next few days working on a few different shoots, pow & park.

Went out with a couple of the boys on an extra DEEP day at Sierra at Tahoe yesterday, Feb 18th.. Got your snorkel?
These were all shot on my 35mm Nikon N90S, on Portra 160/400ISO film.

Tahoe Snowboard Magazine
Tawnya Schultz and IJ Valenzuela just launched the premiere issue of Tahoe Snowboard Magazine (TSM), showcasing some of the lake’s best talent locally and abroad. These two have put a lot on the line to act on a vision that’s had a long time coming, as I’m sure it’s been an idea of many a dreamer. The foundation has been poured, and will only grow from here. The caption reads: “I’ve seen this stairset for years, and apparently no one has stepped over the fence because of the consequences of trespassing on federal property. This is literally in a photographer friend’s backyard, and to my knowledge, has never been shot on. The night prior to this photo, we attempted to catch sunset light on it, but almost immediately got rolled by the cops after some unfriendly neighbors caught on to our fun. Luckily we went un-spotted and were able to duck under the stairs and out of sight. We returned the next morning for the sunrise, and nailed it before the cops were out of the donut shoppe.”
